When Nice became French in 1860, the nobility and the international bourgeoisie met there for the winter season. Located in the heart of the Belle Époque district of the city, the 1900 facade of Villa Otéro bears witness to this period, which inspired the interior designer Stéphanie Cayet to design the hotel. In the spirit of the resorts of the time, she composed the lobby in the manner of a tea room with the appearance of a conservatory.
